Poundland Nail Foil review...

Okay so I've only ever written one Blog post before so bare with me I'm new to this :)

So I've been seeing a lot of the Nail Rock wraps on the website etc and was really intrigued - they looked really smart and quite easy to do - HOWEVER I'm a mummy on a budget, I always feel too guilty to spend money etc on make up when could use it for something for kids, so spending £7 odd pound on nail wraps wasn't going to happen sadly!

So out and about I noticed a lot of shops doing cheaper version, I even saw them in Primark for a quid so today I went out with the intention of picking some up for cheap just so I could see how they look; I tried Bodycare but no such luck, then home bargains - same result, so I head into Poundland not expecting to find much but I was pleasantly surprised not 1 but 2 different designs!
They had 1 silver pattern with a few pink stripes and 1 black pattern with silver stars; I went for the black ones. Getting home I unfortunately have laundry to put away (LOTS OF IT in my house) but all I really want to do is try these bad boys on for size; so I get settled read the instructions - seems simple enough and get started.

UH OH! okay so the explanation is clear and simple, but doing it is a lot trickier than it seems - especially with someone who shakes a lot when doing anything involving stillness & concentration (my friends call me shaky steve.)
So I get the first nail on, use the scissors to trim most of the length on then use nail clippers to trip it to shape - I decided it didn't look TOO awful and carried on (start what you finish and all that..) so 9 fingers later and I've got a full set of nail foils :)
Now if someone with a steadier hand and sharper nail clippers would have been doing them for me I know they would have done a much better job; but for my first try I'm quite happy with them :) I've had them on for about 2 hours now tidying & typing and a few bits are flicking up in the corners where I cant trip them close enough to the skin but all in all I reckon for a meagre £1 you cannot knock them if you want something for a night out but I wouldn't expect them too last too long! I'll update in a few days to see how they coped! I also got some Poundland Eyelashes as well so I might do a review of them for you... you'll have to wait & see :)
